Personal Development

Personal development is a crucial part of the curriculum at Carrington. Take a look at the document below which summarises the school’s approach.

Carrington Passport

As part of the school’s personal development offer, every child has the opportunity to access a minimum range of experiences by the time they leave us in year 6. This is called the Carrington Passport. See here for more details!

Pupil Voice

Every voice matters at Carrington. School councillors are elected at the start of the year to champion pupil voice and throughout the year, children are invited to join action groups for areas of school such as sustainability, events and diversity celebrations. Children deserve to have an active role in school life and have a say in school improvements. As Greta Thunberg says, “You’re never too small to make a difference!”
