At Carrington Primary School we are extremely proud of the achievements of all of our pupils.  We recognise achievement in all its forms as well as statutory testing.

Results of the Year 6 assessments in 2017 are as follows:

Reading, writing and maths: 67.9% (national average 61%)
English Grammar, Punctuation, Vocabulary and Spelling:  89.3% achieved the national standard (national average is 77%), 30% achieved the higher standard.Average scaled score = 106
Writing: 92.9% (national average is 76%), 50% achieved the higher standard. Progress: 5.2
English Reading:  71.45 % achieved the national standard (national average is 71%), 13% achieved the higher standard. Progress:-1.6 Average scaled score = 103
Mathematics:  75% achieved the national standard (national average is 75%), 10% achieved the higher standard. Progress: -2.2 Average scaled score = 103

All of the children worked very hard, backed and supported by the staff team and parents. We would like to congratulate and thank the children, staff and parents for their hard work.
